Maryam Myika Day is an actress, writer, and Telly Award-winning producer. She most recently appeared in a supporting role in the feature film SMARTASS, starring Joey King of FX's Fargo (currently airing on iTunes), and penned the untold story of Tammi Terrell for the upcoming biopic MOUNTAIN HIGH, starring Kat Graham of Vampire Diaries and All Eyez On Me. Maryam is the screenwriter for John Sacchi’s 5 More Minute Productions film VEGAS JADE. Her made-for-television-movie about Jennifer Jones, the first African American Radio City Music Hall Rockette, has been shopped by Mar Vista Entertainment. “Love Me Richie!,” Maryam’s one-act stage play, premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and is in ongoing development; it was most recently nurtured at the Lark Play Development Center in New York City.  She is a two time finalist for the Sundance Screenwriter's Lab and is currently pitching multiple projects for television.

Maryam resides in Los Angeles, with her beautiful daughter, Ayodélé.
